A Wanted Man by Lee Child

This is a must read if you love Lee Child. Although this is not one of his better books, it is worth a read. Still fast paced & action filled with Jack Reacher.

An Explosion of Being-An American Family’s Journey into the Psychic by Doug & Barbara Dillon

This book is very spiritual, about a family that goes indepth about their own experiences with finding out how to delve into the “other world” they take you into their own personal experiences with automatic writing, etc. I also found this book would be a great teaching tool for someone that is interested into finding their spiritual side.

The Night the Defeos Were Murdered, “Amityville Murders” by Ric Osama

I’ve always been intriqued with the Amityville Murder’s & House since I was a child. This book goes into great detail of what happened and behind the scenes. Very well written & seems like it the author has researched very well also.

Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult

Love this author! This book will make you think & also tug at all heart strings! I really loved the ending of the book. Not prediciable at all. I’m not a religious person at all, not really know how I felt about this book except for I felt like the preacher was kinda “brainwashing” half the time. If it matters, I was for Zoe’s side! LOLIt’s about a couple that’s married & has several miscarriages along with 1 still born at 28 weeks. The husband decides he can’t be married to her anymore and leaves. She is a music therapist that comforts sick children, senior citziens as well as trouble students at a high school. She befriends one of the counselors at the school & they become really close. The husband is an alcoholic & goes to the bottle after the divorce. They also have frozen embriyos (sp?) at a center. Zoe (wife) gets remarried & decides she wants to use them. The husband has straightened up, moved in with his Bible-Thumper brother & wife & he finds God thru church. He decides he wants to give the embryos to his brother/sister in law since they have fertility problems also. Then there’s a court battle.

50 Shades of Freed (#3)

Must read in order to understand the whole story. This is also very adult situations and not for anyone under 18. This book is alot more of the (same) sexual activities. More story seems like to me, I had gotten to where I was skipping over some of the bedroom parts.  You will enjoy the ending to the story.

50 Shades of Darker (Fifty Shades #2) by E.L. James

Love the 2nd book more than the 1st. A continuation of Ana & Christian. It gets more deeper into what he is all about. More Suspenseful. I don’t know what it is about this series but the story just drags you in. Very explicit, very adult situations.

Daunted by the singular sexual tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven, and demanding Fifty Shades. While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront her anger and envy of the women who came before her and make the most important decision of her life. Erotic, sparkling and suspenseful, Fifty Shades Darker is the irresistibly addictive second part of the Fifty Shades trilogy

One Pink Line by Dina Silver

I usually tend to read mysteries, paranormal books but this was a good change up. The book was very well written, good story, I can see how this could actually happen and the first part was a little slow but then it picked up and you wanted to know what happened with the baby & mom.

Daughters of the Witching Hill by Mary Sharratt

Very well written, goes into depth of what happened during the witch hunt in England. I didn’t even realize that they even had one except for in Salem. The story is partly non fiction/fiction. I think the story itself is taken from facts but names have been changed, etc. If you are into witches, witch trials, history this is he book for you

Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez

this was the authors first novel and it was very well written. It was about slave life in the late 1800’s, how they lived, how they were treated, it was sad in some parts & I’m sure if I’d have lived back then I would have been part of the underground railroad. Loved the book

The Tale of Halcyon Crane by Wendy Webb

I enjoyed this book. Loved the gothic, mystery, ghost feel of it. It’s about a woman that grows up with her father raising her all her life. Then she finds out that the story she’s been told all her life that her mother died is not true. She goes to an island that’s a little freaky, and finds out more about her life story, her mother, the past, etc. Loved it. Would love to see another book by this author.
